When a TruView inspector is hired to inspect a home, the items of most interest are those that represent a significant deficiency with regard to safety or functionality. In addition, the inspector looks for any systems or components that may be nearing the end of their useful life. Replacing these may represent an upcoming significant expense.

All of these deficiencies are highlighted in TruView’s home inspection report. We look at the plumbing and electrical systems as well as the water heater and the HVAC system. All permanently installed appliances are reviewed, and we also closely examine the floors, walls, roof, attic and crawl space.

Unlike many other inspectors, we actually walk the roof to ensure that we thoroughly understand its condition. Thanks to our training and experience, our inspectors are able to identify defects that others miss.

Most full home inspections require approximately two to three hours. Afterward, our clients are provided with a comprehensive report that highlights all of the deficiencies that require improvement. We also let you know which parts of the home are in great shape and present no cause for concern.
